This patient was bothered breast asymmetry, abnormal movement of the submuscular implants when using her pec muscles (animation deformity), and palpability of her implants, after multiple procedures performed elsewhere. Dr. Culbertson replaced her implants with highly cohesive silicone gel to reduce palpability / rippling, changed the implants to subglandular pockets to correct the animation deformity, repaired her pec muscles, placed an internal bra of GalaFLEX mesh to support the implants and her relatively thin tissue, and performed mastopexies to lift and improve the symmetry of her breasts.
